THE SQUAD PRINCIPLES

Who We are & Who We are Looking For

Our Principles aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. These Principles work hard, just like we do. We use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new content, deciding on new strategies, or recruiting candidates. It’s just one of the things that makes MyCampusPost Squad peculiar.

The squad starts with the readers and work backwards. They work vigorously to understand their consumption patterns and deliver based on their liking. Although squad pays attention to innovation delivering relatable content to millenial is the primary focus.

The squad seeks innovation and invention. They always find ways to simplify and connect. They are externally aware, look for new ideas from everywhere, and are not limited by “no more ideas". They think differently and look around corners for ways to serve readers.

The squad have relentlessly high standards - many people may think these standards are unreasonably high. They are continually raising the bar and driving high quality content. They ensure that average work do not get sent down the line.

The squad owns it. They think long term and don’t sacrifice long-term value for short-term results. They act on behalf of the entire company, beyond just their own individual need. They never say “that’s not my job".

The squad are never done learning and always seek to improve themselves. They execute by experiences resulting directly from one's own actions, as contrasted with learning from watching others perform or reading/listening to others' instructions. They are curious about new possibilities and act to explore them.

The squad focus on the key inputs for their publication and deliver them with the right quality and in a timely fashion. Despite setbacks, they rise to the occasion and never settle.
